Bradley Matthew Dorsey, the youngest son of legendary singer Engelbert Humperdinck, has been carving out his own path in the music industry while honoring his family’s rich musical legacy.
Musical Endeavors and Collaborations
In 2014, Bradley collaborated with his father on the duet “Father and Son,” featured on Engelbert’s album Engelbert Calling. This project highlighted their close relationship and mutual respect as artists.
Bradley’s debut album, I’ve Got Dreams, released in December 2024, showcases his versatility as a musician. The album includes covers of rare songs written by his father, such as “This and That” and “A Good Thing Going,” as well as a unique rendition of “Release Me,” featuring his sister Louise and niece Olivia.
One standout track from the album is a cover of The Beatles’ “Come Together,” featuring young Australian guitarist Taj Farrant. Bradley expressed his excitement about the collaboration, noting the fresh energy Farrant brought to the classic song.
Personal Life and Background
Bradley studied at Charles Keene College and has worked as an artist and prop master for Engelbert Humperdinck Productions International. He currently resides in Los Angeles and is a father himself.
The Dorsey family faced a significant loss when Patricia Healey, Bradley’s mother and Engelbert’s wife of over 50 years, passed away in February 2021 after battling Alzheimer’s disease and contracting COVID-19. Bradley, along with his siblings, was by her side during her final moments.
