The Final Farewell to Chris LeDoux – A Western Legend Rides Into the Sunset

For over a decade, fans of Chris LeDoux have made their way to the small town of Kaycee, Wyoming, every summer to honor the man they call a true American cowboy. But this year, on June 13–14, 2025, the final Chris LeDoux Days will take place – closing the chapter on one of country music’s most heartfelt traditions.

This isn’t just another festival. It’s a goodbye to a legend, a tribute filled with rodeo thrills, live music, and emotional remembrance. Tickets are $30 in advance, $35 at the gate – and children under 10 get in free, allowing families to share this moment across generations.

The celebration will feature Sawyer Brown, crowd-favorite entertainer Kip Attaway, and most importantly, Ned LeDoux, Chris’s son, who has carried his father’s legacy with grace and grit. Ned will perform songs from his newest album Real as I Believe, including the emotional duet with his father, “One Hand in the Riggin’,” which blends Chris’s original vocals with Ned’s tribute.

For many in Kaycee and fans nationwide, Chris LeDoux is more than just a singer. He’s a symbol of authenticity, of the American cowboy spirit, and of undying passion for life. That’s why this final event isn’t just a show – it’s a moment in history.

If you ever loved Chris LeDoux, or just want to feel the spirit of the American West one last time, this is your moment. Because after June 14, Kaycee may never echo with the sounds of country music and rodeo cheers again – only memories and a legend will remain.
